We are fully-equipped and ready to travel to provide you with studio quality recording in a club, concert hall, school auditiorium, church, your living room, a festival, any type of venue. Allen Lam will transport the studio to where ever you wish to record and capture your sound. Let "The Guru of Sound" handle the details, pre-production, live recording, and if you desire, post-production/mixing. At the end of the project you will have a fully-mixed CDR ready for manufacture.
We are now offering location recording in two distinct flavors:
For Analog Recording we go live to stereo assisted by great mics, transformer isolated splitters, and an all-analog signal path leading to the classic Otari 5050 IIB half-track analog recorder running at 15ips.
For Digital Recording we use a Roland 2480HD hard disc recorder/editor, which allows recording up to 16 tracks at once, all with parametric EQ and dynamics, all at 24-bit resolution. The 2480 is a great sounding, robust and reliable capture medium, whose integrated nature provides for efficient, cost-effective setups, with 64 input channels with moving faders and complete automation for mixdown.
